If somebody has a better guess on the dates of things or knows for sure I wish they will let me know!

Uncle Randy in Moab  2005

Jim swung by Moab on his move from Arizona to Utah and visited Uncle Randy who was looking a lot like his father had 30 years earlier.

Okay, this was really taken on Yvonne's birthday, but 30 years is still 30 years!

Jim in Arizona 1995

When I retired from my service I drove west cross country and stopped in for a visit with Jim.  He was nice enough to pose for some photos in the beautiful green desert.  I wish I had known enough about photography at the time to have arranged a reflector to light his face.

Jim in Arizona

I was working on the east coast when Jim mentioned he had grown a "calico" beard.  I asked for pictures and these are what arrived.  Scroungy the cat was not a calico but evidently the beard was.  One of these days I will figure out the date from correspondence.

When Grandad turned 95
Grandad, the great actor Joel McCrea, and Semer
Jannette sent me this photo and David reprocessed it to "turn on the lights."
It is from Grandad's 95th birthday, which would have been in 1983.
Dad and Grandad once did some work for Joel McCrea on his ranch.
Joel McCrea was a popular film actor from the 1930s through the 1980s and a real nice gentleman to work for according to Dad and Grandad.  I thought well of him for coming out to honor my Grandad on his birthday.

And we can see the current fashion in ladies' shoes!  Yvonne says, "Those sure look like Mom's feet. That is Ruth with her head turned talking to Vada, I think. Randy is getting food behind Grandma with Roger (Sue) standing just looking.  Ken is in the back, behind Janice."
