So many beautiful quilts displayed amongst the live oaks that shade the nursery.  

This is one of my favorite quilt shows, because of Alex Anderson's participation.  Also, Alden Lane Nursery is just so pretty, and the weather is always perfect.  This show is held annually on the fourth Saturday of September at Alden Lane Nursery in Livermore, California. 

Heart of the Redwoods

This beautiful quilt show is held the third weekend of July in odd-numbered years at Redwood Acres Fairgrounds in Eureka, California.

 

 

Autumn in the Alps

The Trinity Alps, that is.  Every year on the first Saturday of October a beautiful quilt show appears on the main thoroughfare of Weaverville, California.  Local volunteer firemen help hang the quilts then man a barbecue in the park where you can buy a hamburger made to your order by a group of real life heroes.  

 

Santa Barbara

The Coastal Quilters Guild in Santa Barbara, California, hosts a quilt show in even-numbered years. This year's show (2012) is being held on September 22 and 23  at the Earl Warren Showgrounds, Highway 101 and Las Positas in Santa Barbara.
